Physics Education Group (PEG)

People

The Physics Education Group (PEG) aims are to engage in pedagogic research to inform the teaching of Physics at Bristol and beyond and to ensure that undergraduate teaching at Bristol is informed by the latest research evidence. Group members teach at all levels from Foundation year to taught masters and come from a wide range of research backgrounds.

We have a range of interests including:

  • Threshold concepts in physics.

  • Transition from school to university and are participating in the BEST (Belonging and Engagement for Successful Transition) study.

  • The use of technology in teaching

  • Outreach to Schools and the Public.

We welcome enquiries from potential research collaborators and students interested in working with us. Please view the people pages for contact details.
